Environment Policy

Efuse Solutions recognises that its activities impact upon the environment both through its routine internal operations, its infrastructural development, and through its influence and effects on the wider community. It acknowledges a responsibility for, and a commitment to, protection of the environment at all levels. Efuse will comply fully with environmental legislation and is in addition committed to continued efforts to:

  • • Promote environmental management policies and practices at every level
  • • Increase awareness of environmental responsibilities amongst staff
  • • Minimise waste and pollution and develop and operate environmentally friendly waste management procedures
  • • Incorporate long term strategies for energy efficiency into planning and development
  • • Continue to encourage and facilitate modes of transport by staff which minimise environmental impact, and to apply environmentally friendly principles to the operation of Efuse owned vehicles
  • • Reduce water consumption & electricity
  • • Promote a purchasing policy which will give preference, as far as practicable, to those products and services which cause the least harm to the environment
  • • Avoid wherever practical the use of environmentally damaging substances, materials and processes
  • • Consider environmental factors in respect of the growth of the Efuse, seeking as far as is practical to reduce harmful environmental impacts into the local environment
  • • Work with other local, national and other agencies as appropriate to promote environmental policies

Ethical Policy

At Efuse we aim to work in the most efficient and ethically correct way we can within our industry but like any business we have to make a profit. We do believe however, that in fulfilling this aim, we need to maintain awareness of the social and environmental implications of the work we do. As such we have developed our own mandate for adhering to this as best we can.

We refurbish equipment that otherwise may be scrapped or disposed of in an environmentally unfriendly way. After going through our refurbishment process the re-cycled product is re-sold at a discounted price to our clients, who choose this re-cycled product over the new product that we also supply.

All our refurbished products carry a warranty as the new products we supply – thus allowing the purchase of re-cycled products with the same confidence as new products. This removes the uncertainty and reason for not purchasing re-cycled products.

As well as our ethical policy towards our product, we also maintain the same standard to our staff. To this end we:

  • • Employ staff bridging the age gap from 16 to when they wish to retire
  • • Do not discriminate in any way and will not work with companies that breach Human Rights
  • • Employ people not on the basis of their sex, creed, race or beliefs, but on the basis of their suitability for the position required

In terms of the ethics we employ when operating our business, we believe we offer a fair and trustworthy alternative to our competitors. When purchasing product we pay our suppliers on time, and do not aim to profit by malice in any way.

Equal Opportunities Policy

Efuse is committed to promoting equal opportunities in the North West. Efuse values diversity and encourages fairness and justice within the workforce and any suppliers which we deal with. Efuse wants equal chances for everyone to work, learn and live free from discrimination and victimisation. In seeking to achieve this vision, Efuse will strive to:
