Priority 2 status

This site aims to meet Priority 2 guidelines and as such should be accessible easily by users with accessibility problems.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9, Firefox, Safari,Opera and Goggle Chrome browsers all support the Zoom feature

This feature magnifies the whole page with the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • • Press Ctrl and + to increase the size
  • • Press Ctrl and - to decrease the size
  • • Press Ctrl and 0 to go back to the default size

Navigation using the TAB key

This page is structured so that links should follow naturally down the page. As a result it no longer uses the 'tabindex' property as per latest HTML5 guidelines.

If there are embedded videos on the page these will be the last elements in the tab order.

ARIA Roles

This site uses ARIA Roles within the coding as per the latest HTML5 specification, however we have left Access Keys in place for browser fallback.

Access Keys

  • • Key 0 = Accessibility
  • • Key 1 = Home Page
  • • Key 3 = Site Map
  • • Key 9 = Contact

Windows Internet Explorer 7, 8 & 9 users can press “ALT” plus the listed access key then release the keys and press "Enter."

Windows Internet Explorer 6 users can press “ALT” plus the listed access key plus "Enter."

Macintosh users can press “Control” plus the listed access key plus "Enter." You will then be taken to the page.
